Host A Workshop

REACH offers a wide variety of free, energy conservation and sustainability workshops that are tailored to meet the needs of every audience.  REACH workshops are designed to be interactive and engaging rather than in a lecture format.   Audiences are invited to participate in conversations about energy conservation and share knowledge in a structured and focused forum.  Together, we can understand our behaviors and our needs so we can learn how to fit energy efficiency and sustainability within the context of our lives.  To inquire about hosting a workshop in your community, please contact REACH

Below is a list of communities REACH has developed workshops for:

Energy Conservation Workshops For SchoolsSchools: When related to simple concepts like food and sharing, lower grades learn about electricity, how it is made, why it is important, and why it is important to conserve.  Upper grades learn details of understanding a utility bill and performing energy audits in their home.  All San Francisco Bay Area school workshops incorporate games that are fun and get students engaged.

Energy conservation workshops for homeownersHomeowners: Buying and owning a home in the San Francisco Bay Area can be a good long term investment, but by reducing monthly energy costs, the return on investment can drastically improve.  Homeowners learn about energy efficient technology on the market they can take advantage of, rebates and incentives available and behaviors they can adopt to reduce their energy consumption.

Energy Conservation workshops for businessesBusinesses: All San Francisco Bay Area businesses are conscious of their bottom line.  REACH focuses on ways businesses can leverage energy efficient technology and behavior to pad their bottom line.  REACH has also partnered with the California Green Business Program to showcase ways to leverage becoming a green business and increase customers.

Other: If you are looking to host a workshop for a community not mentioned above, contact REACH and we can discuss developing a workshop specific to your needs.
